1 FORBIDDEN FRAME / SEC. interactive installation referring to the film WE BEG YOU TO SEDUCE US!spying through the holes, the vorbidden pictures which appeared in the priests head during the confession in the film (too fast to really catch them) are blinking behind the wall at an intervall of one frame/sec. (by stroboskoplight flashes)- causing optical irritations to the eyes, making it once again impossible to catch what was really going on in the room of trespass. |
the seducive chocolates, covered by the earring that played an important role in the film were handed out during the opening night of the exhibition "wir bitten dich, verführe uns", 1 of 5 being shockingly hot and bitter. |
CONFESSION BOX / CLEANSING RITUAL INTERACTIVE VIDEO INSTALLATION this confession box known from the film is equipped with an interactive videoinstallation based on semi transparent mirror foil and a lcd monitor. it is interacting with the mirror image of the spectator, wiping it off, cleaning it,leading him and his mirror image through a cleansing ritual |
